Comfort Inn & Suites Salinas City Center Area

We booked based on our needs, not budget. When we arrived, the lady changed our needs like she knows what's better for us. My 11 month daughter ended up on the floor while we were sleeping at 3am. Rooms are a bit deteriorated

Kind staff, comfortable king bed, nice layout for king suite, bigger than most mini fridge, pretty quiet, felt safe. Decent breakfast (toasts, muffins, waffle maker, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and fried eggs and sausage patties) Only downside was a pretty uncomfortable sofa bed.

We were upgraded to a mini suite. The room was clean. Only saw 2 staff members, checking in and checking out, both were friendly. The free breakfast had the usual choices of cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, English muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea. Comfortable bed.

There is plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Asked for spare towels and received them with no trouble. The room was amazing with a couch, fridge, microwave, and small sink. Be mindful of the hookers, drug dealers, and homeless people nearby. The only other problem was that the bed was hard and stiff. There was no give to the mattress. I tosses and turned all night and woke up several times due to not being able to sleep.

The hotel granted is a little ran down but the family owned business did try to accommodate every need. The daughter and mother I had most contact with was extremely helpful to me and held the doors when I was trying to get all my luggage through the door. The plus side of this hotel is the bigger refrigerators and the kitchenette sink in the living room area. Not the worst hotel. I do understand with covid pandemic alot of hotels aren't done with upgrades. Very close to hwy too

Accommodating friendly staff, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, quiet. Huge difference from the BW next door.

We arrived late and the hotel staff had no problem accommodating us. The breakfast is included in the nightly rate, which was nice. It was your basic continental breakfast, but it was effective. The hotel is clean and in good condition. My only slight complaint, which is personal preference, is that the beds are stiff. I'm a side sleeper, so my good were sore in the morning.

Asked if I could tour a room before staying. I was very pleased with the comfort of the bed and size of room. Very clean hotel and the staff which I believe are the owners are very nice. The wifi worked great on the 3rd floor. Highway noise was minimal. Never checked out the hot tub or pool, both of which are indoors and heated.
